Chest tubes i found out recently are fucking painful. Getting your chest cut armpit to armpit has also turned out to be not so fun :D

Don't be sorry! I feel so much better! My original lungs had been pretty thrashed from a disease called CF, last year I was out on oxygen and started having an array of different problems but now I'm back to healthy again with my lungs, no more oxygen or any of that. Just some pills and Antibotics :) which is like Night and Day to what I'm used to!

1st kidney stone last month. Was drinking my coffee and reading the paper in the ready room at work at 6;00 a.m. when it nailed me. Pizzed it out the next day. A real treat.

I broke my tailbone snowboarding. That kept me down for a few weeks. If I sit on in wrong it still wakes me up. Also wrecked going 40mph on my snowboard and had to be rushed to the E.R. in a WAHHHmbulance. After about $11k of service I was released with a severe neck sprain and a concussed brain. Took about 8 months of continual rehab to recover from that one. Between those 2 is my worst pain ever.

honestly, and it sounds silly, the worst for me was trying to torque down this chiller. wrench slipped and I ran my fist with everything I had into the edge of an 1/8" piece of steel. my thumb, at the base of the nail, right on the last bit of skin before the nail starts, took the full force.

I was amazed. luckily I had gloves on so the cut wasn't too bad, but my thumb instantly changed colors, blood oozing out of places it shouldn't be. unfortunately the bleeding soon stopped and left me with the worst pain I could describe. if the wind blew I would wince. sat down for lunch with my boss and proceeded to vent pressure. the first hole I drilled sent a squirt of blood all the way into my boss' lap lol narrowly missing his sandwich. that pulsing, horrible pain remained for days. life gets very frustrating when you cant even put a hand in your pocket

the nail of course separated but remained attatched. took months for the "dent" that ran all the way across to grow out with the rest of the deformities. its still only halfway attached so its always white underneath, like its too long. that happened about a year ago lol

snowboarding is brutal. any over-confidence makes you land on your head or ass. . . hard. first jump, landed on head. . . out cold till somebody else landed on me lol. first rail, landed on ass, on rail, no break but I sure as hell saw stars lol

i get something called Cluster Headaches in cycles every few years.. its horrible. i have broken bones, had a herniated disc in my back, spinal taps, nothing compares to the pain of a cluster headache. used to be called suicide headaches back in the day because they had no way of treating or preventing them and people would just off themselves during acycle

    Well headaches
    Emotional pain
    Kidney stones

Those are three pretty mentioned pain problems. Seems like our kidneys are no joke, I actually found out I have a kidney stone I just haven't past it and I probably won't ever have to hopefully!

Nice!! In a sick, gruesome sort of way. That's gonna leave a nice conversation piece.

Worst pain I ever had was when I passed my second kidney stone. It was the largest the doctors at that hospital said they had ever seen at 7.5mm. THAT was 10 hours of the most intense pain I think even possible. During the entire ordeal I passed out 3 times from the pain. They eventually put me on a morphine drip....This was after 3 epiderals.

It's the only time you don't want someone looking "down there" and saying, "holy crap... that's the biggest one I've ever seen"

And even though I'm tempted, I'm not going to measure my cyclops's eye right now for comparison.
