I would kill to have a house with 3 garages. I bought my 13 at the end of the March & a few weeks later, acquired a 1997 Cobra Mustang. The Cobra has been outside since I bought it; feeling the full onslaught of New Mexico's spring winds, heat, and dirt. The taco and the wife's car is tucked in the garage.

I can't decides if I should leave the Tacoma outside, seeing it's brand new and can take the heat, wind, and other crap better than the 16 year old Cobra's paint.

Do you guys leave yours outside or in a garage?

Mine is always outside....wifes car & the golf cart are in the garage.

I'd worry more about theft with the Cobra sitting out.

the taco's paint is not indestructible. my brothers 05 has never seen a garage and shows bad oxidation on the a-pillars, c-pillars, roof, and hood. of course its been washed only a handful of times and never seen wax. his is silver

my truck was well takin care of before I bought it. paint was good, unshure if it was garaged or not. it sits out now though and the paint looks terrible. could be from my dog, and all the vegetation it encounters though

dads white 09 looks great and it sits in the sun most of the time. at best it gets parked under a tree

I wash mine regularly, and put Blackfire wet diamond on it every time I wash. It's a paint sealer, UV protection, etc... Did it this morning in fact.

The Cobra is 16 years old. The paint is pretty good but has some issues on the hood due to engine and sun heat.

Thing is, my taco is only a few months old and I still have that "new car feeling" still.

Maybe I should kick the wife's car outside? lol

Yup. Looks like tiny little cracks under the clear coat. Stand 2ft away and you can't see them. You have to be really looking to see them.

    I have 3 garages:

a 24x26 attached to the house
    a 26x36 detached shop

the Tacoma, and all of my trucks have always parked outside.

I always keep my truck in my garage. I don't live in a bad part of town but I just feel more comfortable when it's in the garage.
