    Yeah, I was only sitting at 2" of lift up front with the billies and eibachs on the bottom level, so I bumped them up to the middle perch to theoretically gain 1 more inch of lift.

    I wish there was a .75 notch. That woulda been much much better. 1" on the billies with the eibachs really makes close to 4" lift or more cause the eibachs are so long.

    how are you only at 3" of lift? those things are supposed to be 3 with a bumper

    When you do a lot of wheeling it puts a lot more stress on them, wearing them out quicker.

    Yeah, I wish there was a .75 notch as well....
    Don't know what to tell ya, but my hub to fender measurements (of course keeping in mind that I've removed 2") were consistently 1-1.25" shorter then other guys with the exact same front set-up.
    I've had 'em for about 2 years, now..... and a 2nd gen had them on his truck for about 8,000 miles (I'm the second owner), I've got a lot of weight up front, and I wheel in the rocks a lot which means a lot of cycling...

    Getting stuff done. With Tom's help, got the CB tuned today! Got some nice numbers with the 3' antenna with 1.2 at ch1, 1 at ch20, and 1.4 at ch40. :cool:


    Updated Moab List:
    1. Replace upper and lower control arm bushings--DONE
    2. Preload front coils another inch--DONE
    3. Alignment
    4. Rebuild Spare CV axles and obtain more spare parts--in progress
    5. Oil change--in progress
    6. Change Gear Oil--DONE
    7. Re-do rear bump stops to create more forced articulation (i.e. move bumps inboard several inches)
    8. Spare tire Mount
    9. Rock Lights
    11. Install CB--DONE
    12. Tune CB--DONE
    13. Diff Drop--in progress

    And for reference, my hub to fender measurement was 25" at the lowest setting, and they're at 26.5" right now... which puts me at 3.5" of lift. I think it just looks like more since I cut out 2" form the fenders... :notsure: So I'm hoping they'll settle a half inch once I get the skids on and after a few more days of weight on them to get 3".

    Once they settle, and I get a diff drop on, I think the CV angles will be plenty acceptable for manual hubs. But yeah, they ain't great right now. :D
