EA$Y spending my $$$$$....Please...wife and kids make that a full time job as is...

Dealership will have to "WORK" to make this happen...poor guy couldn't even finish pricing it out...:p Parts and service are closed till Tuesday and without that roof rack and different tires ..not even bringing the Taco in till they have numbers on the table...;)

I did find a couple of used ones "like" equipped so life is good....

But yes ,sadly my Tacoma days are numbered.....:(

strap couldn't hold. i ended up wheeling all day and kept pounding the leaf back in place. Gotta use what you got for parts to fix and my jeep buddy had spring retainers so I was golden.

It was LOUD when it let go i thought the drive shaft let go but nope the leaf. hopefully these fix it.....

That's my point, you won't have to spend a dime to out wheel Alex!

My truck as it sits vs a stock FJ is a joke. Even without a locker I can out wheel it

Installed one of my Fox 2.0 shocks. I'm waiting for a bushing to install the other side

The FJ is produced by Hino Motors with many of the structural elements of the Land Cruiser Prado. Better approach and departure angles, better braking, and more robust structural design elements make it a better platform. If you built up an FJ and a Runner the same way I'd put my money on the FJ, it's designed to become a monster, not chase groceries.

Not sure about the 4th gens, but the 5th gen 4Runner is based on the same platform.

One crucial element though, I don't care about crunching my bumpers and shit.

I know the FJ is actually built on a shortened 4th gen frame.

Trust me, I'd MUCH rather have an FJ than my 4th gen for many reasons.

Many similarities, and the drivetrain and suspension are the same from Taco, to Runner, to FJ. If I could get over the tiny rear doors and seats, and the overall ugliness of the FJ I would be building up one and not a Taco.

I'm pretty sure all FJ's except for the 2wd's have locking diffs?

But if the TRD FJ is comparable to the TRD Taco your money would be better spent building up a base 4x4.

    no

yea, they would have to make me a pretty good deal to get into the FJ from my truck. I have alot of equity on my truck, but i also have alot of money into it for shit that i cant take off and put on an FJ.

Which ones don't? My mom has a base model FJ 4x4 auto and it has a locker.
