I clay bared the truck last night. Other than feeling smoother, visibly I see no difference. Don't think I will clay bar ever again. It was only a $20 venture.

Hope I didn't create any micro scratches...damn black color shows everything.

I use this It's too fine to scratch the paint and does not remove wax. I switched over from the more abrasive clay due to the same reasons, black truck. New truck is white though. Clay is meant to remove the stuff you can't see but can feel if you run your hand over the paint. It's still a good idea to clay before wax if time and patience allows for it.

Along with the 886 Reverse Light Mod I installed a Stainless Steel Shift knob and finally got around to doing the Tailgate Lock Mod.

    Stainless Steal Shift Knob

Tailgate Lock with a little more added to it. I added some velcro stuck to the tailgate so the Hose Clamp wouldn't scratch the paint

Stainless knob looks awesome, but I'd be afraid of blistering my hand here in SoCal.

The hose clamp on the left side isn't doing anything ;)

installed maganflow 14586 22" long 2.5" muffler. Sounds great but I should have ordered the 2.25" unit and swedged the muffler the 2.5 inch is a very loose fit on the stock head pipe and tail pipe. Lots of welding required.

Sounds really mellow just what i wanted.

Rotated my tires, then asked my wife if my truck looked better. She said, "yeah looks good." With a lacadasical tone. I sometimes feel as if she doesn't care for my truck hardly as much as I do.
