Op the Duluth trading underwear are they way to go. Give them a try. I got the boxers not the briefs but they are tighter than normal boxers so they are an inbetween the two

    OP,

I wear these and have no complaints. Granted, I'm not wearing uniform pants or working in a furnace all day. But they stay dry and comfortable. Not the cheapest, but they feel good.

Like you, I also wore the Under Armour boxer briefs, but they didn't breathe. These are way more comfy!

Butt then you can only wear your pants once before you need to wash them. Thats the purpose my underwear serves - a sanitary barrier between my pants and me. Otherwise I would need 12 pairs of pants before needing to run the laundry.

I only have about 4 pairs of pants I wear in constant rotation, but about 15 pairs of cotten boxer briefs (for the office days) and a couple pairs of EMS Techwick boxer briefs for the hot days or days out in the field.

I'll second the EMS Techwick, I am up to 10 pairs, mixed boxer and boxer-brief depending on the schedule. They are regularly about $20/pair but go on sale periodically.

    http://www.ems.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4385964

They breath good, but like someone said about the REI ones, the breathing makes them smell horrible.

    thread re-re-revival !!!111!!

    ive found a winning combo.

first i lay down a nice base coating of this stuff on the under carriage, a nice even coat from the ballon over the english channel. similar to treating a tacoma frame for rust.

    http://www.goldbond.com/powder-spray.html

and these underroos are comfortable and do not ride up creating the tangled hammock effect, the key is the long legs. also they are cotton so they cut out the under armour swamp ass syndrome. they are a hell of a lot cheaper then deluth trading or under armour

    victory feels great

As for your bunching of underwear, try doing some quad and hamstring workouts so the elastic in the boxer briefs will actually hug your thighs.:rofl:

Seriously though Ralph Lauren and CK boxer briefs elastic actually stays tight compared to off brand briefs.

I do have idea. Used to work in sheetmetal and millwright unions in H-town. Lots of days of nothing but swimming in your own sweat totally soaked and not just the ass. So happy to be a keyboard jockey in the AC all day at this point in my life. Only revisiting the sweat soak nowadays is doing yard work, mt biking or other optional activities.
