Pisses me off!

 

I may have missed something since I haven't checked this thread in a few days but I'll catch up tomo. For now, a teaser:

Who's 2nd gen? I have only seen like 2 other 2nd gens before with the tube doors.

Well, I didn't get to work on the vinyl as much as I expected, but I did get about 4 hours in it. Got the hood, front two quarter panels, and roof done. Still have a ways to go, but working on it more this afternoon. It is just so tedious and you really have to take your time. I learned a ton on the first couple of pieces and actually feel like I kinda know what I am doing now. The last panel we did went on the best... We learned some tricks to help speed the process along. There is really only one peice that I am worried about and its the piece that runs from the front window, over the door, down the back of the cab, and back under. We will see. I will try to get a couple of pics of my progress up in a little while.

I knew it had to be someone local, but didn't know who. I have seen his truck a million times and thought it might be his, but I never heard anyone mention or seen it with the tube doors.

Gid, are your panties in a wad because Memphis got swept last night or what?! lol... I am not happy about it either.

i'm down dude! though i don't think i'll have an RTT anytime soon, i may be looking for a trailer in the next month or two

 

Well, you saw what I would like to do. It doesn't look to hard, but I would have to find the right piston's to push it up and make sure they are nothing I couldn't pull back down on my own. I am in no rush, but it is definitely something I would like to do and somehow make it removable. Because I have used the trailer for stuff where I wouldn't want it up there and it would be in the way.

I need to get a couple more of these other projects out of my way before I get to working on this, but I would love the help! I don't have tools to do it (welder, cutter, etc...), but I know you said you did, so that would be awesome!

Don't rub it in. I about had a nervous breakdown last night after the game. I sat in the corner, cuddling my clown and sucking on my thumb, as I sweated profusely, scared of all the little Tony Parkers bouncing their balls off my forehead and laughing sadistically at me. "Please stop Tony! I don't want ur balls in my face!" Is what I kept yelling, over and over and over again. Then I blacked out for a moment and when I awoken, there was a little boy standing at my feet holding his hand out to me .... "Here, let me help u up" is what he said. I then gathered my senses and got to my feet. I asked the boy where we were goin, he said "To a far away place where no bad people can get u." We then walked off into the sunset with some awkward bluegrass music playing in the background ............... Then I woke up on my kitchen floor, covered in dog piss and fingering my ass and realized that it was all just a dream and everything is back to normal. Yep, that was a close one.
