Yea fabric, some aluminum, nylon and what're the base board is. Mine is only 110 I think.

But when you add it up with a bed rack it'll be over 200lbs easy.

Bumpers and shit are heavy too.

My 1st gen is over 5k now just rolling around..

Mine weighs in at 186 I believe. Rack is a smart design to minimalize the amount of pipe needed. Pretty lightweight but stil DOM.

How much weight would you save with the aluminum? I bet they'd be pretty damn light

A ton for my rear bumper. My front would be about 1/2 as heavy. Craig says his weighed like 45-55lbs. Vs mine which is 110 without a winch

Yeah, aluminum would be the way to go if you are looking to shave weight. I want to add mote until I need a bigger motor haha.

Well after finishing the suspension, I feel too exhausted to do any more work on it haha. So I'm taking it back to youngs gear to do the stuff I don't want to deal with. Rear brakes, rack bushings, inner/outer tie rod ends on my driver side, and an alignment. They'll get it done tomorrow and I should be ready for having fun this weekend.

Another question for you guys. There's a little knocking noise coming from my front end after doing the suspension. It was not there when I only did my fronts and drove around. But since I did the rear it makes a knocking/thunking sound when I hit the gas or let go of the gas. Any ideas?

Axle wrap maybe? Check your driveline length too.

I don't think its axle wrap because the sound is coming from either the front end or right beneath me. I'll need to re-torque all the u-bolts and whatnot but it's still not coming from the rear

Does it happen if you rev the engine in neutral or just while driving?

Haven't tried that, I'll go do it in a few minutes. It's just a very slight noise. Doesn't really bother me honestly, but I'd like to know what it is. It doesn't seem suspension related as it doesn't happen more when I flex it out. It just has to do with the throttle, which leads me to driveline, u-joints, or carrier bearing.

definitely doesn't do it while revving in neutral. But I listened more carefully and it actually does appear to happen when I have the front flexed a little. I actually think it's my sway bar linkage. I disconnected the driver side and was having a hard time tightening it back up properly. It may have a tiny amount of play in it.

Hmmm.. Yeah that could be it. If it has any play it definitely could be knocking around just a little

Thats a good bet. Didn't realize it was just the front doing it. So glad people are upgrading stuff! Gonna make wheeling that much more fun!
