My dad has one that he got from camp coalmen down in castle rock he seems to like it and it didnt break the bank like the ARB's

 

Yeah it is just where velcro from the back pocket is on my left side. I never remember to close the pocket so it rubs on the seat cover.

I saw somewhere some ballastic nylon style covers. Thought I might give them a shot next.

Yeah you just have to choose the air bag option when ordering.

What an awesome thing to wake up to this morning! Vintage WW2 planes. A B17 bomber and 4 P51 Mustangs (my dads favorite) practicing their flyovers for the Air Force Academy graduation.

Katzkin covers, are they a do it yourself or have the dealer do it for you option only?

I called their retail place up north early on and was told that.

They are both there are couple good write ups on here about installing yourself. But......and That's a big But its leather you have to completely remove all the old fabric etc etc etc. If your dropping that much dough on upholstery then have it done by someone that does it for a living. My 2 cents.

were any of you guys in leadville on sun afternoon. Saw a real nice black taco with bed rack with all kinds of goodies mounted to it. Waved at each other as we passed through intersection.

I have some coverking ballistic nylon seat covers. Got them from Autoanything I think. They are definitely tough and thick and should wear well. But they're not going to fit like the okoles. The fabric is just to thick to get a nice custom fit. Personally, I don't care. I just want the most protection I can get for my seats from the kids and the dogs.


Actually, they fit really well on the rear seats that are flat surfaced, but there's only so much you can do to make a heavy fabric fit the contours of the front bucket seats.
