Yessir, that's why I was asking. These tires look like an aggressive version of the Dura Tac's. Which would be good. How are the side walls on those E rated tires? Seems this is the Dura Trac's down fall.
Thanks for the extra pic, they look great, and clean...

No give at all. Truck drives completely different than the stock tires. It took a bit to get used to but it feels more responsive (almost to the point of being twitchy) since they are so stiff. You get used to it and begin to appreciate it but it does drive completely different when you put them on. My wife hated it by the way until she got used to it.

Ahh, OK. Mine doesn't have that (at least not in that location), but the mounting studs are there on the fenderwell. I wondered what that spot was used for.

Great job on the truck... I'm guessing you won't have a frame recall in your future

I bought the all u can wash package from Mikes Car Wash. I included the underbody spray because I intend to keep my truck along time and was concerned about the frame issues. figured if i started doing it while it was new hopefully it will stay realitively clean without having to get underneath the truck to do it. While mine isn't spotless like yours after 6000 miles it still looks pretty close to new

    Let's hope not lol!

That is the key, just stay on top of it and it will be easy to keep clean. Like I said earlier. If it rains I wash it off when I get to work or home (even if it is still raining). Makes it so much easier to clean later.

Awesome work! Thanks for updating my thread to get me here.

That looks amazing I have to say. I'm curious about the 303 on the undercarriage. I used 303 for my project, but only for plastics. Did you wipe down the driveshaft and other metal components with 303 as well?

I want to start another project, but tend only to the underside and engine bay. I want to get it perfectly clean and then brush some of the exposed metal to spray it with Corrosion X.

303 on everything. Doesn't streak and seems to keep everything black and beads water off of it.

To anyone thinking of doing something like this (doubt there are many). NEVER.... EVER EVER use fucking Armor All on anything!!! That shit is worthless and will attract dust like a crack whore to a 8 ball.

There is a alternative that you can use in a pinch for underneath your vehicle. Light weight furniture polish. Not Pledge or some shit like that. We get some at work and it is real thin and does not streak and repels dust like you wouldn't believe. I have used it in the past and been satisfied with the results. But 303 is by far the best and worth every penny.

This is what I use http://www.amazon.com/automotive/dp/B0002U1TXK

And the underside is amazing..I'll admit I have done a little under the truck but to get it spotless without even water marks(which sadly..our water is horribly hard) is nearly impossible..id have to wipe every single place dry..

Using 303...interesting..I ain't gonna waste that one stuff on the underbody..its clean enough for me :)

So... Full disclosure. This is where my truck sits while at work. One of the main reasons that makes it easier to keep clean.

And I don't even have to drive. I just sit over there and push buttons, talk on the radio, and play with the siren lol
