If the u joints went up that quick after installing a lift and they just replaced the joints then after a couple hundred miles your drive shaft will start to get play in it again I would check it every couple hundred miles at 1st and grease every 3k

That's what I'm afraid of, but I'm going to order the carrier barring drop kit and hopefully that will resolve it. Thanks for the advice, will be keeping a close eye on it, dont want anymore problems haha :goingcrazy:

All of you need to go to this link and take the survey. http://survey.rrcresearch.com/s3/Maryland

Let them know you're livid about their complete inability to properly manage off-road vehicle use. Rather then completely shutting down the offroad vehicle trails in Maryland (which they did back in 2009) they should have put more of an effort into striking a balance between the sustainable forest bullshit and recreational use of the land by OHV.

Now, Off-roaders have no place to go in MD.

I would start by looking under the truck to make sure the drive shaft is okay!
Is there perhaps a unknown matter stuck in there?
Perhaps the yoke is damaged. Good luck..

Checked under the truck, the drive shaft is solid no play, the u joints on the drive shaft seem to be fine aswell also there pretty clean no mud or rocks or anything like that. The carrier baearing does have some up and downside to side movement to it but I wanna say there's some type of rubber gasket or dampner and its ment to do that by the looks of it. The movement on the drive shaft is probably just 1/8 of an inch if that. I get no vibes while driving either. the clunk I'm describing is almost like something is shifting from neutral to drive its kinda wierd I also wanna say it doesn't do it in 4hi or low. It's my first 4x4 so im lacking some knowlege on transfer cases and all that. is there somthing that has to catchup for the lack of a better term when you shift outta park or reverse and into drive? and its not really 3 feet till it clunks its more like 1ft or one rotation of the tire. Im probably gonna check the front part of the drive train tomorrow since all the norm 2wheel drive stuff looks good.I've heard it before just never bothered looking for it till now. Maybe I'm just over analyzing the sounds the truck is making.
