When I tackle the project, I will start with angles before ordering anything. I know my carrier is shot. The bearing is still good but the rubber around it is not holding it. There is a LOT of play in the rubber. So far, I slopped some RTV silicone in there to mimic a solid mount and give the bearing itself more support but I've effectively insulated the bearing so I'm sure that will shorten it's lifespan significantly. My plan is to get the TSB rear tranny mounts (or aftermarket replacement if I can find one) and use a solid pillow block bearing for the carrier instead of the rubber mount BS. I'll make all the angles work and see if I need to shim the axle or not.

That was Scooter....you must have missed me (# 45), I was lead truck, if it was this AM,we were spaced all of 5-10 minutes apart ;)...We are always on CB # 3.....

We were hauling crush gravel from Londonderry to Stratham BUT trailers needed work, #41 stayed in Londonderry to haul stumps and I came back to Dover to haul gravel to a new Rental store on Mast Road...

Do the brake lines now. Worth it. Recommend the super-bumps, negative arch is not cool. Make sure the shackle bolts are grease-able.

Everything else 6Speed mentioned is a must :D

Thanks for the heads up. One of the reasons I want the new rear is to get rid of that chrome eyesore.

I was an incident commander for a HAZMAT company for 5 years. The amount of training I had to go trough was insane.

Who's this guy. WTF, you been enjoying the real world a little too much?

Just got back from fishing, decided to take the kayak instead of my boat and hit some shallow coves for some topwater action. Best of the night:pic doesn't do it justice. Hard to get a good angle while holding it in one hand and using phone in the other. He was a nice fatty though.

If they were for a long bed I wouldve grabbed them. With some sanding and paint, they would be great for a AC or DCSB

I am thinking about buying a cheap back up cam, but mount it forward facing, near the front of my truck, then wire it so it will be on a toggle switch. Kinda a rock cam/ park really close to people without hitting them cam...thoughts/opinions? I have the OEM backup cam in the rearview, and i have a 7" in dash aftermarket headunit. So it would be a pretty easy install. I would buy a cheap one with some giftcards. So what do you guys think, forward facing camera..yay or nay, or totally ghey. Or use my mod time to do something like retrofit headlights.
