ARB bumper, warn 9.5 winch. carbon fiber hood. Leer top with thule racks and MOAB from thule. Electric fans, blue sea fuse block, Sony dvd Head unit, Xm tuner and HD tuner. New carpet and new racing seats. ( other half doesnt like them i think). Nwor springs and adjustable coil overs. Sky jacker rear shocks. Slot and drilled rotors. Engine Titanium ceramic coated headers, no cat, jba cat back. URD Rear Sensor Simulator. Leds all around and inside cab and HID H4 hi/lo beams.
Depends on the flywheel ... whats the flywheel on the kubota you are using? Diameter of it? If it same you might have to machine it to fit the clutch and after that all you have to do is a machine shop machine you a adapter for it so it will bolt together. After that its nothing but wiring which is is not much on those engines.

Off the top of my head without looking at it.

we own a vw 2.0tdi Passat and I love it. Id rather see that in a Tacoma then a tractor engine

My only concern with the 2.0 is under powering the truck. I don't just want a truck that can roll down the road, I want one that can get out of its way if I ask it to. Hence the 3.7l turbo kubota engine. Just my .02 correct me if I'm wrong.
    Thanks Jared

I don't understand a lot about kubota ( we used one on a job a couple years ago, didnt stand out in my mind good or bad) And I don't understand a lot about how that engine would react in a vehicle. I do know the vw tdi engines are great engines and with just a chip it will put more then 200whp an 230wtq which is way more then my little 4 banger puts out. Are you looking for power? When I think turbo diesel in a tacoma, I'm thinking mpg, and off road use. I know how reliable and how much of a beating the vw engine can take. And it's been used in offloading vehicles enough for a componey to make a kit for it.

Either way I'm very interested in the build and hope you follow through with it. Your on the right track with the adaptor for the trans( no need for a new trans) I thinks it 100% doable.
    Isthe kubota engine turbo charged?

Yes it's a turbo @ 115 hp. Tdi was my second choice and 4bt was my 3rd. It's way out there but if anyone finds a d-4d Toyota diesel for sale I would gladly use that.
No I'm not looking for 200+ horse in my taco, but don't want to spend the time and money and have a doggy truck.

the 4bt is a great engine, but its a heavy SOB. that kubota seems interesting, and light weight.
