Need opinions here... time for new tires. I currently have 315 70 17 bfg at. I'm debating whether to stick with this size or drop to a 33... can't make up my mind sometimes 33 look perfect and other times look way to small.

Hey I have a question... Why do my shocks and UCA's have DR stamped on them and not Icon... Can anyone answer that for me?

Icon was once DR (Donahoe Racing) long ago. Shocks are at least 6+ yrs old then.

Much different product though now internally. DR's are still a good shock though

Oh hell... That's probably why they sound kind of "squishy", Its kind of like they sound like they're letting out air every time i go over a bump... I wonder if Icon would rebuild them and how much that would cost me...

It depends on how bad it is. We charge $150 per C/O rebuild, Shipping them back and forth would add some too. But they can be rebuilt for sure

Jay I sour black one has 33s... one of the few that looks good with them. So you don't think there's a power/mpg gain compared to the 315s.. FYI I'm on stock gears auto tranny

wow really? kinda surprising to hear that a 6 inch lift would be less work than a 3, but i guess thats why i am learning hehe... any other info to add would be great.. is there anything that is sacrificed with a 6 inch lift, such as body roll, skating, regearing, etc?

^^People say that a 6" drop bracket kit has less suspension flex than a good 3" set up. This member has had both set ups.... nofords08 (Patrick).....I'm sure he could give you a great comparison.

im working on uploading videos. taking off the sway bar it swayed too much for my liking so i just adjusted the compression on the front and it was fine! the front wheel travel is way better! in order to fit the ready lift heavy duty tie rods i had to go with less backspacing and now the tires stick way out and every little mud puddle the truck gets covered in mud! and now im rubbing the cab mount real bad, its been chopped but more cutting is in order.. i love the raceline beadlocks and the km2's are my favorite change. they gripped when others wouldnt, especially in mud!
