Seth, why are you going for a short bed if you plan on hauling stuff?

I suppose a LB works too. I just need to be able to load lumber, soil, sod and shit like that. Tired of having to call you guys to make a dump run or pick something up.

Will never be a F150 or GMC. What i need and what I want are two different things. What i want is my rig all SASed out and to have time to wheel the shit out of it. The reality is i have a kid now and he wont be big enough to go wheeling with me for a long time. Even then its unknown if my wife would let me take him. So, I don't have time or the money for wheeling. What i really need is a truck so i can do shit without always having to call someone else because I don't have a bed to put things in.

Sounds like you should get the truck and then when your son gets older, get another rig. Then the two of you can build it together.

Thats where we are different my son is yunger and will be wheeling as soon as my truck is ready. And my wife would "let" me take him because i would and i wouldnt "let" my wife tell me what to do :p granted the kid wont be going on crazy trails until the truck has a roll cage in it  but anything ifs can handle is tame enough for my son.

Why does your caster vary so much from each side? Is that normal?
