FINALLY got around to doing my fenders and wheels, did the fogs and front valance a while back. Did a few of the badges but then decided against it, need a little chrome to offset things.

Didn't remove them. Just mask off around them leaving about 3/4" space around the emblem. I sprayed 4 coats. The first being a light one then building it thicker each time. I waited about 12 minutes between coats. Once dried, the dip on the truck will peel right off if you put it on thick enough. The dip inside the "o" in Toyota for example can easily be be removed with a toothpick and won't scratch your finish. Very easy to do. Good luck

It looks good and all, but wouldnt the tail pipe cook the shit out of that plast dip???

I would think if anything you would use a hi heat grill paint or something. I like the looks and have a can of dip lying around, but that just seems like a bad idea...

Been on there for more than six months and looks like the day I first put it on. I had the same question but saw it on a youtube vid so I gave it a try. Like I said, no problems. Had the dip left over after doing the emblems so I gave it a shot. Can always come off if it didn't work.

Thanks, I was nervous how it would be on the paint, glad to hear it peels right off!

It's easiest in my opinion if you take them off. If you choose not to you will need to tape up the brake caliper.
