I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
It's really looking like a no go I came in yesterday and plumbed the brakes and steering. There is still a few things to do to get it on the road. Still no axle shafts so i can't even move it as of now. I told myself if my axle shafts come in by tomorrow and the truck drives well I'll 2WD this shit in MOAB  But I don't see that happening. It just might not be in the cards for me this year :(

It really did come together smoothly it only took 2 months just working an hour or two a few days a week and weekends. I think it went well it's just those few last parts that are holding me up. If i had the shafts right now I'd be driving the truck today 2WD but driving none the less.

It's kind of a good thing it's not done business wise. It give's me time to get more caught up and I have a large job coming up in a few weeks and this trip would of killed me for time. There is always next year and the family will be with me as well.

I've stopped by several times since work started and I know you're not putting a lot of straight time and it's just amazing how well it is going. Never mind it's not a kit you can follow directions to complete. Each assembly takes some tweaking but still, you've managed to make great progress.

At least when you go next year the truck will be fully complete and any problems that occurred on the initial shake down runs will be addressed. I hate seeing people rushing a build because they want to go wheel. We all want to wheel our newly built trucks, but sometimes it's just better off to finish it completely, do a shakedown run and figure out any problems. You may not have any problems at all and that is the ultimate goal in the end. Good work so far Jerry

Yep that's why I didn't rush anything if i got it done i did and if not it's no problem. It will be done when it's done.
