Yeah, I was going to disconnect the sway bar completely but I couldn't get the end off the bar itself. Getting it off the lower control arm is easy but I couldn't get it off the bar.

So I finally fixed my headlights, and now after this weekends wheeling trip my shroud has fallen off inside the headlight assembly

Edit: this was my 5,000 post! Whoa!

Haha nice. I spent 2 hours digging/pushing my friends element up an icy hill slightly larger than a speed bump over the winter.

Well when I say front, I really just mean from the rear axle forward lol. I still think its coming from the front end, but we'll see. I'll get it Back from the shop tomorrow so maybe it'll be fixed. New tie rod ends and rack bushings plus an alignment may cure some of it.

Took the family up to the interior for the holiday weekend! First trip out with the pull behind camper. Truck pulled pretty good, but holy smokes did it burn fuel climbing the mountains. Lol

So, the place we went to was mile 40 of Chena Hotsprings Road. I WAS wanting to go to Chena Lake recreation area, but part of our group got up there the day ahead and picked this place. Everything went great until around 8:00am sunday morning when one of our group came pounding on the door saying water was rushing in. AND HOLY SMOKE was it RUSHING in! We tore shit down fast as we could, tossed unfolded tents in the camper and everything else we could fit and barely made it out of there before the water got too high. It was actually nerve racking. All i could think of was getting my baby girl out of there quick. naturally the water was rushing in from the only direction we had to get out of our camp site. the water climbed to with in feet of my truck and camper in less than 10 minutes and was still pouring in. Was rushing over part of the road a short ways down as well, atleast 4 inches. actually had quite a lot of resistance driving the truck through it (of course i was pulling the weight anyway). We ended up heading in to North Pole (my old stomping ground), met Santa Clause, and while the rest of the group wanted to drive 3 or 4 hours down the highway back towards Anchorage to find new camp, we split ways and went straight to Chena. haha. it was sunny and 80 degrees. didnt want to spend the better part of day just driving.

Thats my little adventure this past weekend. We plan to head to Chena again later this year when the lake is thawed completely.

So I convinced a co-worker to buy a toyota. he'd been set on buying a dodge, but me and another co-worker got him to buy an FJ instead. So now we have one tacoma, two FJs, and a tundra at work haha. It's starting to look like a Toyota dealership out there.
