Read that, too. Could be but IMO unlikely unless they do a test and it comes back positive. He has no priors - and that thing with Crowell was nothing. No arrests were made in either case, but he was dumb (smart?) enough to admit it, though, which may give brownie points in CMR's case. However, we will see what CMR decides to do... It's not like he was caught with it or there was even any in there...

But, athletes are held to different standards than the rest of the student population...:frusty:

Local radio guy was just talking about the arrest... One quote that made me chuckle:

"If you're a Georgia fan, it's easy to count the championships, but how many arrests does this make???"

Which arrest was that? Unless I read wrong, no one was arrested - but I read a different source than bleacher. JHC wasn't arrested and I don't think Ty was either. Although, Ty was shown the door and told by CMR to be looking for a junior college...

Me, too. Hopefully it stops here....we all know it won't

On another note, Mike Slive says the SEC will stay with the 6-1-1 conference schedule in 2014, and "probably in 2015".

What exactly does that mean? You play your 6 divison teams , permanent cross and a revolving cross game?

And it starts. :( :frusty:

Thing is I know this stuff goes on at other schools. Maybe they cover it up better? Or Richt being the Christian man that he is chooses to deal with it to try to lead these kids in the right direction where others just want to keep their guys on the field?

Dan Mullen tends to suspend players whenever they do something stupid too but we don't seem to have the same discipline problems that y'all do.

Clemson has had to suspend a few for the 1st game in years past.....I'm sure Georgia fans wouldn't mind if it happened again this season.

First thing to remember is that the drug policy isn't Richt's to begin with - he is only enforcing what is on the board. Honestly, I know that a lot of schools sweep this stuff under the rug and look the other way, but I like the morality tone that UGA sends. Kids need to held accountable for their actions. If it costs us a game or whatever, then so be it. One person shouldn't ever determine the outcome of a team effort. I know, he admitted to something very minor, but it still is against the rules. I, for one, find Richt's approach refreshing in a world where seemingly everybody wants everything for nothing and think they can get away with anything and everything. What is the old saying, do the crime and do the time?

Now, let all the other team's fans look in the mirror and ask themselves this: If you are OK with your team hiding stuff to win, what does that say about you?
