Kenwood DNX6160 Bluetooth/nav/iPod/cd

I have a kenwood nav that needs a new home. No issues, comes with the Bluetooth mic, GPS antenna, wiring, and iPod cable. Wired for a 2nd gen taco, I'll throw in a silver dash kit if you want it too (not the dark one pictured). Works without any issues. $350 obo

 

are the nav maps up to date?

Metra makes a textured black and a textured silver dash kit.

 

I think they might be the 2010 update but I'm not positive

Does it allow for a backup cam? And is the radio HD?

 

Yep, it can accept a backup cam and it is hd-ready, so you'd have to add the tuner for that

 

Okay stupid question.... Is it a touch screen or wheel activated?

 

Also can it stream pandora?

Via iPhone?

 

I'm not sure. I have a single din that could stream pandora when plugged in. I know that the DNX does not stream over Bluetooth. I've had an iPhone 5 since I've had this unit so I am not positive whether or not it can do pandora. I googled around a bit and wasn't able to come up with anything conclusive. My go has an older iPhone so ill give that a try tomorrow and get back to you.

 

And sorry, missed this one...it's touch screen. There's a volume knob and a nav button, that's about it as far as buttons go

Yep..it'll play pandora. You'll have to control it from your iPhone but it worked last night when I tried it

I used my gf's 4 or 4s, whatever it is..should work with the 5 with the 30 pin to lightning connector though..I just haven't gotten around to picking one up

 

Does it have a separate nav module?

 

it's all in 1...it has a gps antenna, but everything is in the double din unit. if you added bluetooth or satellite radio, those would be separate modules.

Sorry, I was thinking of the single din I have for sale. It DOES have Bluetooth.
