Alright so ive wanted relentless fab trail armor for a long time and now that I have some cash i hear from a fellow member that hes been waiting for his relentless armor for more than a year. WTF?? Just my luck :( so does anyone have any recommendations for similar trail armor. Ive looked through the bumper sticky but i was hoping a few members with similar armor would chime in. I want to buy a front and rear bumper and i want an HC rear. I also want a full skid set and rock sliders. Im hoping to be able to buy all the armor from the same company any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm looking at picking up a set of skids and possibly sliders from Pelfrey.

Since you're on the East Coast, I'd check out ATO

Ahh didn't know they moved. But yea, still closer than everything here on the West Coast, so the OP will save on shipping. And ATO has quality stuff too. Bud Built has good skids too. I think they're on the East Coast, no?

yeah...Bud is out of NC last i knew of. OP would have better choices if he chose to get things here and there from other places. from a one stop shop (to possibly save on shipping as well) he's limited. ATO/4x, CBI, Pelfrey, etc.

Bruteforce seems to be about 8-10 weeks on rear bumpers ordered 4/10/13 no word yet or tracking number if its on the way. I take that back 5/17 Billy said it was shipping out on 5/22, but I can't confirm that as I haven't seen the bumper or heard from him since.

These are my preferences in order:

    1) Pelfreybuilt. Tyler does some amazing work for the short amount of time he has been around the community. I can't wait to throw on that new front bumper.

    2) Demello Offroad. Absolutely beautiful work and Jason stand behind his work. Most of the custom fabrication on my truck was done at his shop. Their front bumpers are very nice.

    3) ATO. I bought my rear bumper from Kevin a few years ago and it is a bomb proof bumper. I pity the fool that decides to be texting on their cellphone and rearend me.

Hey guys i was wondering if you had any ideas on wether to go with a hybrid bumper or a plate bumper. I have 2012 so im some what limited for options but Im running stock suspension as of right now and i was wondering if the hybrid style might keep my truck from sagging to bad.

For reference, our 2012 plate bumpers fully loaded with hoops are appx 110lbs. The hybrids are around 95lbs. Not a huge difference. We have several that are installed on stock suspension and do pretty good. Once you start adding additional weight, i.e. Skidplates and a winch you will want to beef up the front suspension to carry the load. It can be done over time so you don't break the bank all at once.

BAMF is running a sale on his sliders right now. I love my Pelfreybilt front plate bumper on my '12. Jerry and Tyler both build amazing stuff. Sorry, I don't have pictures yet. Maybe if we get some sun this weekend. Good luck with your build.

    Not enough.
Whatever your final choice is, I recommend you get yourself some frame braces for your front bumper. Billy at BruteForce makes some beffy as eff braces.
