It it wasn't obvious already, we aren't going to make it for the Hells run. We are about 2.5 hours out...but that doesn't include what the rock slide has in store.

Joe!! Your leaf springs are in negative arch at ride height! You are so close to your bumps that you might actually be sitting on them at ride height!

 

Road is still closed but heard they are trying to open a lane around 2 or 3. Now if we take the detour it'll add on about another two hours plus the gas...so I think we might just try and wait it out.

 

I should be there 4 or 5 so hopefully I don't see you in the pile up...

Yeah we got stuck. Was hoping to reach a gas station right around the corner but they got us off the highway just before. We hung out on the exit for a little bit and now we are back tracking to the previous gas station in De Beque to hang out for a while.

There's so many people panicking about it. They don't know roads exist outside the highway lol

 

i wonder how hard it would be to add a leaf to my setup atm......

Nope... and really I don't even think I would say you have all that much weight back there... I am running the tsb leaf with a 1.5" AAL (my leaf pack has sagged a lot too...) and I measured the frame on both and I was 3/4" higher in the rear. Joe's tires give him an extra 1/2" of height over my tires too... Joe also has a shackle flip and I don't...

 

Hell even new expo springs or omes ..... I really under estimated these springs

The standards cant handle a 500 lb tote + camping gear + rtt with a shitty rack


Mind I do havr a shackle flip but wowsers

EB I-70 is closed due to a rock slide. No estimated time of reopening. EB traffic is being detoured to exit 37 Clifton to CO 141 to US 50 to CO 65. Road closure began May 29th, 2013 at 2:09pm
