    n00b here...

Does anyone have a write up/instructional for a front bumper/valance replacement? I would need a step-by-step guide on how to do it. I have the part(s) already, I just need the know how.

    tia. :)

eta: and pics are great! I have 0 experience with doing anything to my truck myself. But, I'm poor now and have no other choice.

if you dont find a write up, you should get u a haynes manaul for the truck. that book will nearly tell u how to take your truck apart piece by piece and put it back together again. i use mine whenever i do anything on my truck that involves taking apart a bunch of stuff. changed the bulbs behind my gauges the other day.

much credit is due to 127.0.0.1 for providing me this link! anyone having rack and pinion problems should look into this!! mainly for the pre 2000 models. remember when looking at your rack if the guide nut faces out then you have the old bearing style if you have the inner facing nut you have the new updated style
much respect given to 127.0.0.1 for providing the link for the write up that i was looking for, for so long

    Check out rockauto.com

They have the part for under $50 but you gotta take into account, shipping costs. If not, check local junk yards.

FYI 1st Gen Tacos or at least my 97, front dif drain plug is a 12mm, and fill plug is a 10mm. The thread I read must have been 2nd gen and called for only a 10mm.
