I made it up broncos peak without any armor. It was in my old 68 bronco on 35s. I would recommend armor on anything you don't what hurt.

So Ive been thinking for a while, its time to go 4wd. Im going to part out the truck to go back to stock, and trade in the truck. kbb trade in is $15k on my 05, since it only has 58k on it, and I owe $9k. Thoughts?

So the muffler I got a few weeks back has been pissing me off since install.

The place only had 14 inch magnaflows and I hate how loud and rumbley they are, I am coming from an 18 inch body 24 inch tip to tip magnaflow and loved the mellow tone.

Bought this bastard off summit and am taking to to the shop to hopefully return the little loud 14 inch one and have this one installed.

Its a 5/8 oval wide center in off center out 24 inch body and 30 inch tip to tip.. Gonna be nice and quiet.

Biggest one I could find with 2.5 inch in and out tips.

You could always get a first gen 4x4 or a high mileage second gen.

How do you fellas feel about getting the Firestone lifetime alignment deal here in SD? Is it worth it or do they suck just as bad as every other Firestone?

Well, I just got an alignment from them...truck felt very smooth afterwords...my only issue is I specifically stated that I had loose lug nuts, it was noted in my paperwork...so loose that my tire was clunking on the hub (I didn't have the socket FML) as soon as I was hands the keys I walked out and hand checked all my lugs...three came off in my hand...immediately walked back in and had a tech come back out and torque that tire...borrowed his wrench and checked all my tires...two wheels definitely needed it...so I was a little disappointed that they never even checked that...

Ive seen a couple 2nd gen 4wd with low mileage for fairly cheap. I think one was a 2010 dcsb trd offroad with 50k for $20,000. I wouldnt get a dc though

Most parts on your prerunner should fit a 2nd gen 4x4. I love my 2nd gen, but at the same time a 1st gen has a certain allure...
