I can eat brains, just not a lot of grains.

I was typing as the food was cooking, and was super hungry.

A buddy of mine raises beef (among other things) in Nebraska. He doesn't raise tons to feed the nation and just prefers to have his own cattle for his own consumption as he's mostly a farmer and not a rancher. His stuff is top notch but I need to know what it is you're looking for before we proceed as his beef is grain fed. Grass fed adult cattle makes for super lean, stringy and tough meat. In short, it's miserable and difficult to get quality cuts of meat from. I know you're a bit of a health nut though and maybe you're aware and still prefer really lean beef to really good beef. :p

Then we might have a problem as his beef is grain fed. :( Have you had grass-fed beef?

Well, do some research and let me know if you decide you're interested. Maybe we can go half on a side or something.

Hey Sean, my brothers wife is a veterinarian and they raise free range grass fed beef. They finish it with grain though so basically it's grass fed it's whole life and then the last 2-4 weeks its grain fed to add flavor. We buy a whole cow every year and it makes walmart and even good steak house beef taste like shit. I will through you a steak or two to try and then when it's slaughter time you can decide.

nothing like buying meat straight from a good rancher mmm. Im hoping to buy no meat for the next year after this hunting season. Trying for 2 elk and fill in with small game and birds.
Also did anybody here what was going on at jewell and wadsworth yesterday. Bomb squad was there and they had the area shut down but I never saw anything on the news about what happened.
