Im new to the whole Tacoma scene...well trucks in general. Just bought my Tacoma off my step dads lot, haven't even driven it. Still in Afghanistan but I fell in love with Tacos when my dad bought one. Sold my car before I deployed and bought a Tacoma. 2 more months and I can drive it. Well anyways...Im wanting to do some stuff to it while on leave. 1st two things I want to get is an Intake and Exhaust. Im looking at a few different companies for my intake...AFE, AEM, Injen and K&N. Being new to trucks, Im not sure which intake performs better. I stuck with AEM with my Hondas but those were always 4 bangers. Biggest engine Ive had lol. Im trying to not lose MPG since I do a lot of long drives on the weekends. I saw a sealed water proof intake by AFE I believe and that's what Im looking at but no absolutely nothing about it haha. With the exhaust its between Flowmaster, MBRP and Magnaflow. I like the dual exhaust but I feel that a V6 wont benefit at all and lose power from having two. Ill do headers eventually but for now, this is all I want to do. Im just looking to see what people think is the best combo and or best part in general. I have the money to do a full exhaust so no need to say "get a muffler and have it welded on, just use your stock pipes" lol

Truck where it sits back in Florida on my step dads lot...that stupid ass bra is coming off after I get to Texas when Im done with leave

Ive been told the TRD are good, just expensive and you lose power on the high end? Im not to familiar with them though.
