My fuelly reflects 14.9, but i have a .75 mile commute to work and the gf and gym are both within 2 miles so i can never get good gas mileage, once i get cruising i have no problem getting 17-18 mpg

Yes, Icon's valving and setup is much more Daily Driver/ Weekend warrior friendly. if you have a race truck, i would say Fox or King. But The on-road ride Icon gives paired with the Off-road performance is the best of both worlds. I have raced and Driven on all major shock brands.

As of now, I'm thinking of going with KING resi coilovers with builtright or TC ucas in the front, paired with ICON resi in the rear with icon aal.

I'd be inclined to pick all the same shocks. Also, if you add a leaf(s), make sure the shock will be the correct length when you're done.

Why get Icon resi rears and King fronts? If its the compatibility of the rear King OEM shocks that worries you then have DSMS build your rear Kings with a 1" longer rod end and your good. This allows you to run them with an aftermarket leaf pack.

DSM built my Kings with the extra for my Dakars. Can't say enough good about DSM and what they did for me.

We have some 2" longer Icon 2.0's with RR in stock made to be used with All Pro's, Dakar's, and other 3" leaf packs. Just sent a set out to a member in Maryland.

That actually was my main worry. I just sent out a reply to DSM regarding it. Thanks for the heads up! If that works out I will be going that route.

So..Micah from DSM says that the King rear resi shocks don't need any extension for an aal pack. Says they wrk fine with them.
Now I'm pretty confused! Input? :notsure:

Normal King and Icon rear's will work with an AAL (add a leaf pack) But will not work with a full pack such as J66's, Dakars, All pro's.

For those they need to be longer.
