Fast is not a problem as long as it's satisfying.

According to the Florida Driver's Handbook:
All expressway entrances have three basic parts: an entrance ramp, an acceleration lane, and a merging area. Follow these guidelines to enter an expressway safely:
    • On the entrance ramp, begin checking for an opening in traffic. Signal for your turn.
    • As the ramp straightens into the acceleration lane, speed up. Try to adjust your speed so that you can move into the traffic when you reach the end of the acceleration lane.
    • Merge into traffic when you can do so safely. You must yield the right-of-way to traffic on the expressway. You cannot always count on other drivers moving over to give you room to enter, but do not stop on an acceleration lane unless traffic is too heavy and there is no space for you to enter safely.
Why is it that when I merge onto the Interstate everybody in front of me is usually only doing about 40 MPH when we should be doing 65 MPH? I believe that's why it's called an Acceleration lane!!!

The best part is, your drawing is incorrect!! Unless you go in reverse to get off the freeway. The traffic flow arrow is going in the wrong direction

yeah i noticed that. here is my theory. i was number 1 for like 3 months or longer. then the NA is formed and all the top posters of the NA are suddenly in teh top spots. I can understand Tiger moving up due to all the rep from teh sig's. But the other two still suck so shouldnt have moved up in ranking. my theory is that they are all just taking turns giving each other rep points. if me and my Alliance boys wanted to cheat and just take turns giving each other rep we could be in the top 3 too. But we have too much self respect to do something like that. the Carolina Alliance will not stoop to the same level as the NA (Northern Assholes).

bah! I'm number 1 because I cried about people giving me negative rep. And also because I'm that awesome.

Wow, thanks for pointing that out. I cut and pasted that from the Florida Handbook. It really makes you wonder about Florida!

Sleep? that sounds like a rather dedicated activity...not very likely to get side tracked with that.
