I just figured the bushing was more for the top plate adapters. I'm cutting out the coil bucket and connecting everything to an engine cage and using regular tabs for the upper mount

Do y'all think that some 18" 700#ers would be too much for my 8"ers? Full skid plates, sliders and eventually a plate bumper. Should I just stick with 16" 700#?

If you put a winch in the plate carrier, 700 is a good spring rate.

I plan on swapping my 16'' 600 pound springs to 18'' 650 pound springs when I get home. My current springs sagged badly due to the plate bumper and winch I used to have on the truck.

I bought a spring compressor in preparation, I'm betting the 18'' coil will need to be compressed a little in order to fit. I want that though, I don't want any preload.

idk, its pretty dammm snug! like when i welded it, it got a lot tighter so the bump squeezed in there barely. had to use a rubber mallet, and i torqued the bolts down pretty snug.. I'll see how it does today and if it moves, ill prob do what he said vvv
 see this is why i need tacomaworld! thanks man

Ive also seen my buddy's bump stop get stuck halfway because he tightened it too tight, which was weird. When he loosened up the bolts on the can, it worked fine.
