Just an update on these:

30k miles so far and as of my rotation today I have 9-9.5/32 Tread Depth left. They come with 13 so I'm feeling pretty good.

I've been extremely happy with them so far.

 

Good to know. What size tire did you start with? Any decrease in MPG? I have a 2013 DCSB 4x4 and have about an 85 mile round trip commute for work. I want slightly bigger tires, but not to aggressive. Right now I'm actually getting 21 mpg for my commute, which is basically all hwy. I don't want to screw that up...

Does anyone know how those do in the snow?

 

That's my scenario as well. I drive 80 miles round trip, all highway and was constantly getting 20-22. started wth 245/75? x 16" stock SR5 stuff. I have since dropped to averaging 19. Other things have changed tho, not just the tires. I trade vehicles with my wife regularly because hers gets better mileage which has less miles on my truck but more city miles. I would say the bigger tires cost me .5-.75 MPG.

 

They're great in the snow we get around here, wet slushy 2"-5" at a shot, and really great in icy conditions. Tons of sipes and they have the snowflake. They are "ok" in deep snow, but I think that's true for any AT. I should say in deep powder they did really well but in deep wet snow, 12"+ they struggled.

Those were my final two choices as well. For me, I hate the way partially worn Duratracs look ... I can't really say why but they look bad after several thousand miles.

 

Thanks for the info. That really isn't that bad considering the tire size you started with. Mine came with 265/65 17, so the move to 265/70 or 265/75 might not even be that bad...
