I just found a web site that says it can increase your MPGs by30%60% by running a hydrogen fuel cell with your gas engine. It looks very simple to install and cheap to maintain, another added bonus is it increases HP. As so as I come up with funds I'll let you guys know if its worth it. There are two sites I'm going with the cheaper one. AlternativeGasSolutions and HYDBUSA.com

Less than a month old and I've only made three measurements, 87 octane for all three. 85% city driving, 15% on highway

    Tank 1 (filled up at 1/3): 19.25mpg
    Tank 2 (filled up at 1/3): 20.75mpg
    Tank 3 (filled up at 1/4): 21.5mpg

Looks like the 'puter is starting to get my driving habits (read: Granny) and shift points locked in.

Its the "Road Trip" lite version so the free version but it works out great I have tried a few and this one lets you track several cars and its easy to use.

extang trifecta tonneau, tinted windows, side step bars, sill plates, bug deflector, TRD exhaust, K&N filter, carbon fiber CD surround, tow kit, it's a Canadian truck so the TSB 4 leaf springs and bilstiens were done at the factory, vent visors, ipod adapter, and weather tech mats.
I got 9.0L/100km, or 31.5 Imperial MPG, that is about 26 US MPG, on my last week of driving. Almost all rural roads, and highway. So no complaints from me. I have a V6 Double cab 4x4 TRD.

    To figure miles per gallon:

When you fill up with gas, reset the trip odometer or write down the odometer reading.

The next time you fill up with gas, write down the number of gallons you put in to fill it full. Write down the trip odometer reading. (Or write down the odometer reading and subtract the odometer reading from the last fill up.)

Divide the miles you drove since the last fill by the gallons it took to fill it back up. That is your MPG.

how big are the tanks, i got about 305 miles when the light came on( was on for maybe 10 miles top) and then i only had $20 so didnt' fill it up. How much gas does a full tank hold. that would be my first full tank worth of mileage data.

Yep I'm not complaining, but you have to know my driving. My driving to work is 45km each way or 25miles or so. There is one stop sign on my drive each way, so no stop and go, no traffic to speak of, and the truck does not need to rev above 1500 RPM. When I am in the city with it the fuel gauge doesn't stop dropping.

I question how you calculated this? this is 15% better than the EPA hiway rating for this truck.
