Thanks guys. Yea, it was nuts. I guess all the rivers up there as of today are filling their watersheds. I guess winter straight to over 80+ degrees will do that.

Yeah one would probably be down. The other though...I had to explain to him how to use his 4wd shifter and the importance of not using 4wd while on pavement. He thought it wasn't a bad thing to drive around town in 4lo. So I've just got some teaching to do with him haha.

Oh yeah it's fine. He didn't actually do it. But he was having problems shifting from 4hi to 4lo because wasn't in neutral. He was just grinding it

Lol. You could load a slide in camper on to a trailer and pull that. ;). Ya, so far so good with it. I really wanted an R-Pod because I think structurally they are more fuel efficient, but between buying the house and then insurance screwing us on the hospital bills (thought we'd paid up deductibles, but nope! They pulled a fast one and had to pay quite a bit more) had to go the used route. Not a lot of 16-19ft travel trailers around up here. Took a while to find this one. Wife loves it. It's super practical with the baby girl.

So, the old couple murdered last weekend, turns out I had met a few times. That same apartment complex is one we've done several treatments for Bed Bugs and Roaches in. They were always co-operative and polite, even though they spoke zero English. Sad. But, looks like we'll be going BACK to the building next week for another service. It's going to be awkward going in to that unit. :-/

Dang dude, our receptionist lives in that building so she's pretty shaken up by the whole thing. Still can't believe what happened.

In completely unrelated news, buying a house sucks. The lender just told us we now need an additional 4,000 dollars up front in order to close. So guess where that mobey is coming from :frusty:

They also didn't tell us we needed to put 30 MORE dollars on a credit card payment in order for my score to be sufficient, so by the time we did and they pulled credit again (14 hours later, after 6 weeks of making proper payments in order to right my credit), the interest rate went from 3.25 to 3.65, so a 30 dollar payment, now costs me 19,500 dollars.

Ugh!!!! That's such crap! They pulled that on us too. At the first meeting with lender, I did exactly what they told me to do. One thing was to pay a card I had down to a certain amount so that the debt came to less than 50% owed or something. Well, I did that, but then got a letter from the card company saying they were dropping my limit, so when that happened my debt ratio was even worse than if hadn't made the one lump sum payment. AND my credit score didn't change at all when they pulled it 2 months later. We ended up paying WAAAAY more out of pocket when it came to closing than we thought. For something thats supposed to be an exciting time, Buying a house is about the most frustrating thing you can do in your life.

Its definitely frustrating, I'm just hoping that being a homeowner is waaaay better than renting. I'd so prefer to fix wverything myself.

I believe it's gone away after I got it back fe youngs gear. I think it was probably my tie rod ends. Or something to do with my alignment because its not making the noise anymore.

owning a home is nice, and yes buying is super frustrating, but (just like a used car) after you buy it you start noticing things wrong with it that you have to fix. which is all fine if you plan on living there like 10 years or more, but when i move every 3 years with the Air Force, spending that much time fixing a house is annoying. (i'm a first time homeowner too...) it's nice, but don't live in a home owners association! its almost like renting when you try to change something on the outside of your house! holy cow! lol. :frusty:

Don't recognize that one. On a side note, was talking to one of my neighbors tonight, he has a new body tundy and a 01-04 taco, told him about our group he said he would be in for our next meet. Also told him about the site, we'll see if he joins. He seemed surprised when I was telling him about all us tacoma fanatics and the website haha
