What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

There is an option for a "partial" fill up so yeah. It would work. You would manually have to put in how much you put in though. I always fill mine all the way up every 2 weeks so I know how much I've got. And by judging from the gauge it looks pretty accurate so far since I average around 22-23 MPG hand figured every time.

When you get the gauge you only have to input 2 things. The size of your fuel tank and your engine size. It does the rest.

There's an option that allows you to input how many miles you have actually traveled. With that info it recalibrates everything.

 

what's going on?! I think it's time to do my suspension sooner than later lol
I took some measurements today and this is how they came out:

front driver - 20" front passenger - 21"
rear driver - 21" rear passenger - 22"

how does that happen? lol

 

It's called the taco lean. Your battery and gas tank are on the driver side, causing it to lean towards that side.

 

that much of a difference from rear passenger to driver front?

what's the standard rear measurements? I was going to do a lift but are my leafs sagging enough to need to replace?

 

Disconnect the sway bar and see how much of a difference you get.

The Ultra Gauge mount. I installed mine tonight but the problem is I didn't get the same mount as you, I got the window mount.

Buttons are awesome because you can quickly mute the Bieber at intersections so no one hears you listening to him LOL

 

I crank up the beiber at stop lights. And put the windows right down.

Buried her in a mud pit. I told myself to check the depth of the water, but thought I could see the bottom and it didn't look deep... It was! Had to get a tow, the Silverado with us wasn't up to it! No harm done though, just sunk into the mud. Engine bays still clean and I didn't get far enough to bury the exhaust, just the dif! So the second thing I did for my Tacoma today was order a hi-lift. Shouldn't have been so brave without it!

 

How is a hi-lift going to help you when you're sunk up to the axle in a pool of muddy water?

It ain't 100% perfect but it functions. Got some tweaking here and there to do. It's getting there. It was bit** and PITA to do.

i have the same ones in my fogs and ive been through mud, puddles, and not to mention i'm on an island so theres lots of rain....zero problems.
i got lucky maybe.

 

What steering wheel button are you talking about? The buttons on the steering wheel come like that, at least mine did. Might be just a JBL thing, not sure. The buttons I see added are the three added right below the air vent.
