    Good to know! I'm fully aware of how expensive hydros are lol...those wouldn't have been in my immediate future anyhow...but someday perhaps...just wanted something there to protect against the hard hits, as Tyler said...obviously once I get everything dialed in I will barely need them

    To tired currently for drinks. Had the total "one that got away" today because I forgot my net at home today. Out on Cuyamaca...wife finally got a bite, hands the pole to me(cheap POS) practically bending the thin in half trying to get this fish up...go it to the surface...rainbow trout, easily a foot and a half long...couldn't guess the weight...but a BIG ASS fish...right when I get him to the surface I go to grab him...he looks me in the eye, flips me the bird, and rips the hook out of his own mouth...no more fish.

    Was the only bite we got all day lol...other than stolen night crawlers all day

    I think my hydros were like 230 each plus 35 for cans and a solid week of labor in R&D @ $75.00/hr to get hoops/mounts dialed in so ya, you could say they were a bit pricey.
