    Too many to list now.
I'd rethink that setup if I were you. You've now ties the cab and bed together which are supposed to flex independently and depending on where you've tied into structure, you could actually crack your frame. Plus it'll rattle like a mother anytime you are on uneven road.

Though it does look awesome :)
I was talked out of the same design by my fabricator for the aforementioned reasons. He had a guy that refused to take no for an answer and he built it for him finally. It didn't take long for it to come back to the shop.

    WRONG :p

the rack is no way shape or form attached to the cab. So i reject your statement lol.

if you look at the FIRST picture, you can see the two supports for the rack over the cab.

looks are deceiving lol have about .625 clearance between the closest part of the rack to the cab. Wheeled the piss out of it and never even rubbed the cab. :D

    Yeah.
OK, time for pics! First, a few notes:

    - My rack is made of 1.75" tubes. The only thing I needed was longer bolts. Hard to find them in stainless, so I went with what was available, zinc plated. M8 x 70mm works with the supplied nylon lock nuts, but HD didn't have 8 of those, so I went with 4 of those and 4 of the 5/16 x 2.5 inch bolts (and nuts). Worked like a champ.

    - I love my GearWrenches. It's nice for them to include wrenches, but it was much easier with ratcheting wrenches.

    - BE CAREFUL SETTING UP THE AWNINGS! DO NOT STAND DIRECTLY IN THE PATH OF THE FLEXED ROD! I learned this the hard way when it slipped out of my hand and promptly thwacked me in the forehead. Hard. Big goose egg. But then my neighbor brought me a good beer to hold against it (and drink), so everything was right with the world again.

    - Although I didn't plan it this way, I have about 3-4 inches of clearance between the top of the tent and my garage door opening. So even with a future lift I should still have clearance. Sweet.

    - I didn't figure out the ladder supports, but now that I see how Bobby installed them out at Moab, I get it, and I remember seeing the holes for the hinges.

Here's the parts, plus the neat free gift with very entertaining Changlish writings:

Here's where I am putting it:

Front view. I need to figure out something for the awning -- the rod won't go in the hole due to the cab interference. Basically the cab is cock blocking. Maybe moving the tent back a little (don't really want to) or fabricating something that swivels and holds it. I dunno, if any of you have ideas, let me know, not a huge deal at this point.

    TB:

1st - you're going to need to park on level ground and figure out the right height for your ladder (top of the rungs should be level) then drill new holes for the locking pins...unless you've done that already

2nd - I have the same problem with the front awning. My solution was to take two of the metal rods and bend the straight part just a little, maybe 3/4" from the end. So two rods look like \_______n and not ________n Bend the end a little at a time until you find what angle works for you. Get in the tent, open the window, stick your head and arms out, grab the hooked end in one hand and the straight end in the other, bend the rod to clear the cab and it should go in. Not sure that that's a CVT approved solution but its what worked for me.

3rd - how come there's no pics of you getting thwacked or the subsequent injury?

    Yeah.
Not yet, and I still need to put the ladder supports on. My driveway is at an angle, but is flat, so should work?

Wow, that is way simpler than what I was thinking! Thanks!

Sorry, no video or pics capturing the incident in progress, but you can kinda see the egg-shaped growth on my forehead here:
