How/where do you have it jacked up at now?

You will need to jack up the rear and support the rear on the frame. This way the rear suspension becomes separate from the truck.

If u have stands under the rear axle you will just be fighting yourself.

I wouldnt torch anything, just soak it in WD40 or pb blaster and give it a little love with a BFH

I just did this last weekend. Both shackle bolts are connected, so you need to take off both nuts and hammer on each bolt and it should slide out as one piece.

You mention your jack wont go higher...You shouldn't need to make it go higher. If you have the truck jacked up and on stands, you need to lower the axle after you have the U-bolts off. This will take out all tension in the springs. You can also use a large pry bar wedged between the frame and the rear spring eye to relieve some tension if there's any left.

Has anyone ever removed the lenses from the fog lights/turn signals? Is it even possible?

It doesnt look like there is glue holding them on like the headlights, but I cant figure out how to get in there.

I figured out a cheap way to get the cab and engine off the frame. I'm seriously considering starting a feeler thread to sell a rolling chassis. (Tires, suspension, frame, armor, axles.) Do you guys think there would be any interest, or would I be better off parting everything out?

When I replaced my leafs I used an industrial press to get the bolt out, then I just replaced the bolts with grade 8 ones.

Finally got around to replacing my plugs and wires today. Was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Also replaced my corner bulb with an old one leftover from my cluster swap. Nice to have parts laying around. Also ordered a new stereo from Crutchfield so that should be here early this week.
