This stuff is absolutely amazing! Seriously it is re-tard proof and uber easy to use! It peeled right off to the letter.

Then tested it with mud and high pressure commercial car wash

Happy I gave it a try.

Got a few questions for you.

    1) How did you paint the holes between each spoke? Did you cover the spoke first and spray the holes and later come back finish the main surface of the rim?

    2) Also if I were to dip the lug nuts, would the coat scraped when I tighten it?

    Thanks,

    Looks good!
I want to do mine. Was taping off the inside of the letter hard?

You don't actually tape off the inside of the letters, just tape an area bout 1 1/2-2" away from the badge. once you get a nice sheet of overspray just start peeling the overspray off, as you're pullig it off, it pretty much carves itself out around the badges. You may have to help the parts come off like inside the"O" or the "A"

Has anyone had problems with removing and putting on wheel weights when they go and have their tires rotated and balanced? Also they have a Smoke color Plasti-Dip, anyone tried that out? Says the more coats you put on the darker you can make it.

Nah man, didn't even tape them off, just leave them and spray it on. Once it is all done grab a sturdy toothpick or something pointy and small enough to fit in there (I went with a toothpick because it is made out of wood and unless I could somehow through 20 pounds on that toothpick it wouldnt damage the paint) and rub the derp a bit until there is a hole in it or until it lifts a bit, then just grab tweezers and pluck/peel it off, no hastle no fuss, easy as can be!

I think I need to derp something right now... *looks at dog* ...Doggy-derp

Oh so it won't stick to paint?
    But does to the plastic?

    Awesome!

Will stick to paint, but because of the tape square around the emblems as soon as you start to peel the tape off it catches the plasti-dip and comes off with it. And because of the spacing between the trucks paint and the chrome emblem the derp cant connect, therefore the derp is kinda seperated and the peeling doesn't continue on the emblems :)

Anyone have trouble peeling dip off tires? All the little raised segments on my Nitto Terra Grapplers are driving me nuts when the dip keeps breaking at the rubber seams :-/ Will window cleaner get off the thinner bits of dip? Or do I bust out the pressure washer and hope I don't tear an edge of the dipped rims?

So do you guys have to recoat at all? Like does it peel off from washing with a pressure washer or anything?

I want to do my chrome rear bumper too, but if its gonna peel from washing it might skip that.

    that looks great!

My truck's original color was white, and the guy who owned it before me gave it this ridiculous black-with-tons-of-blue-flakes (looks glittery) paint job
To top it all of, it has black ghost flames on the hood and fenders
How I wish it was still white

Nope, brought it to the laser (sounds sharp) shine no contact pressure wash. Not a flake off anywhere. Even heard that it will last a salty winter with no issues.

I tried peeling it all off but why its all black and if you use tire shine it looks about the same. I just leave it on eventually it will wear itself off.

Unless you are going to car shows and whatnot I wouldn't even worry about it.

I'm trying out the new charcoal gray that Dipyourcar.com is selling now. Looks sweet so far on the wheels but the leftover schmeg looks like crap in the tires. I'll post pics tonight after I get home.
