    All those holes had to save at least 8 lbs.

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    I really think it saved more like 15 or 20lbs not that I'm counting. I don't know what a 2.5" disk of 3/8th plate weighs but i know it's not light. The housing is nowhere near light me and my brother in law could barely lift it on to the rack to powder coat it. I'm guessing the bare housing is well into the 200lbs range. Fully assembled 550 to 600lbs at least :eek:

    Manual trans and 5.29 gears in the diffs it should not be a problem.

    The T-case is probably the weak link and those are pretty tough to break with such low gears in the diffs.

    SOOOOO close the axle shafts will be here in a few hours. I'm doing all the little stuff right now replacing mockup hardware with grade 8 fine thread and the last little things to the front axle.

    My too!!! I'm tired of just looking at it all day and not driving it. It's not going to be fully done yet but I can drive it. i still need cosmetic stuff like armor and little things like that :cool:
