I pulled the bikes out of the garage for the first time since..um..err..2004 when we moved in. They were in good enough shape, tires are still good. The seat on hers was loose and my "inherited" one needed a brake pad adjust. They could use a little cleaning but they ride.

 

That sucks. How bad was he injured?

 

The cop I talked to didn't say how he was and he was already in the bus when i pulled up . He just said the old drunk guy blew the light .

 

Me too. I'd run all day playing lacrosse. Ask me to run on the road, no thanks. Too boring.

 

That type of crap scares the hell out of me when I ride. You never know what kind of idiots are on the road with you at any given moment.

 

Hopefully nothing too serious. Was that during the middle of the day and the guy was drink driving?

 

Whatever works. Don't need a super fancy lightweight racing bike our anything.

Hers is a Gary Fisher Wahoo..mine a Diamond Back. I'm guessing they are about 15 yrs old..I've known her 11 years now and she's always had them. Still hate myself for selling my old Diamond Back Strike Zone..oh yeah I found my old Dyno street bike.

I never understood the concept of buying a top of the line, lightweight fancy bike for training... If you want a workout, try pedeling a cheap ass steel framed Huffy from Wally World for 10 miles!

It makes sence if you are doing a tri athlon.

 

Eh..depends. If you do actually race I guess it makes sense to use the same bike all the while..a friend of mine does the Pan-Mass every year.

What I'd like to get as a toy mainly is one of the PK Rippers. I'd give my left arm for a first-gen Hutch Trick Star but even that wouldn't be enough to buy one.

 

That sucks. Those were nice tires

 

No shit. Cars don't look out for bikers. But if your a biker in a car you respect them as if that were yourself on that bike.

 

I was pretty pissed off. Actually I was flipping out. Be issue one is like $250 Nd I need 4 in 285 now.

 

Back when they didn't suck and Evan was about music instead of banging his porn slut wife..so bummed I had to miss them when they toured a few months ago

I wish everyone rode for one day and they would get that..I think both those on 2 and 4 wheels could learn seriously. I've had a few times where I've almost hit a bike who was not doing the right thing.
