    i told my dad about his and he went and bought one a few weeks ago. He had one in '07 and he always said he regretted trading it in for his Mini Cooper. Once he knew they were going to be gone he broke down and got another one haha.

    I can understand you're dad with the mini cooper thing. We have an "extra" car in the garage (a convertible roadster) and 9/10 times I will choose to drive the FJ for many reasons. The main reason being safety...ever see an FJ in an accident? Look a few up and you'll see that it's better to be in an fj than most other cars and suvs.

    Toyota has removed the discontinued statement from their website. If you click the link, it now says nothing about being discontinued. This "discontinued" statement was the source of all previous speculation, so.....
