    So much to see here in Merica. I think next year may be a Pacific Coast Highway trip, a trip to the Grand Canyon, or back to Yellowstone. Only time and what the son and wife want will tell. ;)

    Three years ago we flew into Bozeman and rented a car. Got a free upgrade to a Caddy. Made the trip quite enjoyable considering we put close to 2K miles on the Caddy.

    You will like the Wild Bill Cody Museum. The firearms are most impressive.

    The travel through the Badlands and Black Hills was very scenic and worthwhile. Try to take in Mt. Rushmore if you can.

Thats the trip we want to take and yes it will be something big no cracker box rides, Caddy or Burb is good. My pal from Cal just moved to Douglas, Wy.. So might stop in to see him.. Born and raised in LA but he said he got a gut full and it was time to go. Only peeps around him now are 5 mi. down the road & the only Dr. is a hr. away:eek:. The family and I took 6 weeks (3 weeks in '80 and 3 weeks in '81) vacation back in '80/'81 and went cross country. This trip made Chevy Chase's summer vacation movie seem mild. We lost our pop-up camper due to a hit and run 3 days into our trip in Chicago, soooo we had freezing temps where we had to stop driving to get warm while traveling thru Iowa & Nebraska, 70 degrees in Colorado springs in the morning and a blizzard in the afternoon, A rare southern Nevada earthquake and snow in Vegas, mudslides from rain in San Fran, rain in southern California (LA), Santa Ana winds in San Diego, almost ran out of gas in Texas, freezing rain in New Orleans, Icy roads in Shrevesport LA. and oops forgot we could only visit the southern rim of Grand Canyon because all other parts of the park were closed due to weather:eek::eek:. Once we can't travel abroad, (when we retire) then we will go back to traveling the States. Europe is expensive, but the wife does her home work and as she says, "I want the biggest bang for my buck":D. She generally gets some good deals. One thing I always enjoy whether in Europe or home is a good cold one... and a pizza:D

    Too funny Carl. The parts started to arrive today for my house front makeover.

    Anyone tried to spray paint vinyl shutters and reuse them?

    Afternoon all...still trying to get a good nites sleep from jet lag. up at 4 a.m. looking at the ceiling...

    Hi Carl, the more :angrygirl::angrygirl::angrygirl: the slower I would go. Every time she would ask me a question about what I was doing :crapstorm:hit her and she left me alone:D...Took awhile to get things done but she got used to taking a shower in the laundry deep sink:rofl:...

    Hi Tom, I painted my vinyl shutters with Krylon spray paint and they held up for a year and a half. There might be a better paint out there that will weather better.

    Hi Jim:cheers::typing:
    Hi Sue:wave:
