factory remote CD changer location

I recently bought a used 2002 standard cab PreRunner. It has the factory cassette/AM/FM head unit, with the ability to control a CD changer.

I'd like to install the OEM changer, as advertised by http://www.partydown.com/cd-chang/toyot.html and http://www.oemautosound.com/c-76-toyota-cd-changer.aspx (these actually look like the same outfit...). But I can't see where it would have been installed by the factory.

I'm not interested in swapping the head unit for a CD changer (for one thing, I want to keep the cassette player because I have lots of LPs taped to cassette).

Can anyone tell me the factory mounting location for this remote changer?

Better off get a Bluetooth/SD unit to play music from phone/iPod/etc. Much cheaper too.

 

Well, not cheaper if I have to buy a phone/iPod and supporting paraphernalia/services.

As I said, I have lots of taped LPs (and, for that matter, a lot of CDs), and I'd like to be able to play them in the truck. Frankly I don't have the time or inclination to rip them to yet another medium, or to buy them again in lower-quality versions (if they're even available -- many aren't).
