    Roadway of four lanes or more with a center turning lane: When school bus stops for passengers, only traffic following the bus must stop.

    same for a four lane road w/ a median. a four lane w/o a median or turn lane must stop in both directions...

    Fair thought. I like to know the law and proceed cautiously.

    No kids in any state are crossing a 5 lane highway, there are no houses on the opposite side of the road, It has caused wrecks, and I almost was in a wreck because I was doing the legal thing and 3 other people were "being safe".
