Waste of money imo. Save $1100 and just get a 3", or spend $300 more and get 150% more lift. Just my opinion.

yep, planning on running fuel 18's with toyo open country. Why is the BDS 4 bad. I need info on it? I just dont want the huge height of 6 and run 35's. I feel there is to much power loss. I also need to load paddle boards on rack in the back and dont want that height. Am i thinking wrong?

It's good if your truck is street driven and not for offroading.

Which if that's the case why would you put 35s on a street truck?

Id say stick with a 3" if you dont want power loss qnd trying to load things on a rack will be easier on you and your wallet and is this db or a spindle

It's drop bracket. Along with 3" blocks in the rear.
I emailed them a few weeks ago asking for some more pictures of this truck. They said they had 35s on it but rubbed severely.

Will 17's definitely not fit? When you go to customize the lift and purchase the only note that comes up is that you need the 4.5" of backspacing. It doesn't say anything about the diameter of the rim.

Yeah I was talking to one of the tech guys at BDS and he told me there's no way to fit 17's unfortunately. I had to have the 17's turned around when they were almost here and order 18's and start waiting all over again

I was talking to another guy on here with a 6" bds, and he's running 295/70 nitro grapplers with 17" wheels. No spacers or problems

Really? Figures! I'm not having much luck with my project so far. I've had my lift for probably a couple months and just waiting on wheels and my new struts to install. I had all that screwing around with the tires which isn't a huge deal I suppose because I got a better deal on my 18's which are going to be bigger tires all around, 325/60. Now my struts I've been told are on back order but hopefully they can get those in soon. Oh well, I get it done when I get it done I guess.

You might be able to run 17's but just depends on the inner lip on the wheels if they have enought clearance for the tie rod. Better safe to stick with the 18's. I run the 18's on mine w no issues.

Yeah I'm happier with the size wheels I will have now anyways. What size lift/tire did you go with?

Got the 4" lift but put the 5100's on front set @ .85 and all pro springs in rear so sitting at 5" front and 4" rear w a 285/65r18 on 18 x 10 wheel.

I'm looking at either getting a 4" or 6" bds lift, but can't decide which way to go. Any suggestions?

That's pretty well my exact set up. Can't wait to finally get it installed. Did you get the complete coil over or just the strut and use you stock spring for the bilsteins? And which all pro leafs did you go with?

The 4" and 6" basic kits are basically the same except the 6" they also give you a small preload spacer to install between the top of coil spring and the block is a 4" for 6" liftkit and 3" on 4" lift kit. If you are just looking at the basic kit might also want to look at the zone lift which is basically the same kit as bds except the price is a lil cheaper which is what I am running.
I went with the 4" and put bilstein 5100's that way I could adjust mine if I ever wanted to and replaced my leaf pack to give a better ride over running stock springs and the tall block.

You can always get aftermarket coilovers later if you want like fox or king etc
