05-13 Tail light compatibility

So I am interested in a set of aftermarket tail lights and 3rd brake light for my '13 and from how it looks they are all the same going back to '05 with fit and wiring. Just wondering if anyone can confirm this. Specifically I am looking at the IPCW led tail and 3rd lights.

 

2005 - 2013 taillights are interchangeable.
2005 - 2011 headlights are interchangeable.
2012 - 2013 headlights are interchangeable.

 

im pretty sure the 3rd brake light hasn't changed since the tacoma came out. not 100% though, but they look identical.

 

Just in terms of lights that give off a "cool" look. I got these for my truck after I busted one of them (not sure how, but I came back to my truck after parking it in a lot and it was busted).

yup those are the same ones I want to get, trying to find a good deal on them.

 

I fortunately got mine when they brought the price down to lower than if I were to get a completely new set of stock tail lights. If you can or have the time, you can wait till around a holiday. Usually the price drops at a substantial rate.

 

Does this also include the actual wire harnesses (the wire that sometimes comes with the tail lights) on each? Im about to order some 09+ Black bezel tail lights for my 2007. these Tail lights do not come with the light bulbs or wire harness that the actual bulbs plug into.....just want to make sure the bulb wire harness from my 2007 will fit into the 09+ tail light.....if anyone could clear this up for me it would be much appreciated =)

 

yeah the tail lights that I mentioned I wanted in the link above, well I got them and they fit perfectly, the wiring harness should work the same exact way. Don't forget they are custom made for your truck so why would they try to screw up where the wires and bulbs go. Unless they were some POS some dude made, they should fit perfectly with your current set up. Good luck

I just tried to install the same tail light that you linked from acrid but it kept blowing my fuse! I check and the wires were all connected correctly. I reinstalled my stock tail light and I got no problem. Any ideas???

 

I would simply contact the vendor you got them from & tell them about the malfunction. Ask for an exchange...
