    A small handful of select mods.
    It would be called a coaxial audio cable. Should also have some orange on it near the tip. Shouldn't be too expensive since it pre-dates HDMI and Optical Audio. You will have to change your sound system to the DVD input I bet to get sound but it should work for you.

    Connect Orange on TV to Orange on Stereo.

    your TV sound will play through the 'DVD' input.

    before HDMI/composite they had 'digital audio' and 'digital video' the little black plugs are the video, while orange is the audio. It was in an attempt to move away from the RCA's.

    PS. I buy ALL my cables from Amazon. They're cheap, but good quality. they get the job done. and you can buy 5 for the price of 1 at bestbuy.
