N2 is not as dense as Co2, so 10lb tank of co2 is equal to 40lbs tank of N2. not to mention N2 is super expensive.

Yeah its all about volume i have a 72cf tank of N2 and it does not last long at all ive swapped it three times already.C02 has liquid in it to get it more volume and N2 does not liquid nytro needs to off gas or it will byild too much pressure And no i cant use C02 in them or i would so i wouldn't have to carry 2 bottles. And N2 is not expensive for me :p $16.00 bucks to swap my bottle.

Jerry, a few guys out at Moab and i were talkin about link setups vs springs... were noticing that link setups when flexed, tend to steer the rear axle. under some circumstances, this can really suck....

    teach me something:D

how much math and adjustments does it take to make a link system work correctly? is this why your top link is angled towards the passenger side? along with using a pan hard vs a 4th link to the drivers side?

im anxiously waiting on my day off to learn more:D:D:D

I'm new to the whole link seen but from what i understand there is a lot that has to do with rear steer. Longer lowers tend to have less and link placement is the main thing.

As for My upper this is a 3 link with a panhard the same setup most guys put in the font. I'm running opposing panhards so the front is on the driver side they cancel themselves out so you don't get that wobble you would get if you had a 3 link in the front and leafs out back. If i were to do a true 4 link the gas tank would of had to been moved to the bed and i didn't want that.

ok ok that makes sense with the panhards being opposite. so by you saying the lower links being longer helps? kinda like a long arm kit that heeps have? where the lower links extend to damn new the middle of the chassis?

the upper link extending towards passenger side makes me think its gonna steer more so drooping the l/r than the r/r..... can u measure rear steer? id think once its done and drive able you could measure front to back movement of the center of the hubs when it flexes under its own torque

The way it's set up the upper don't really matter it's long enough the it just go's up and down with the axle the I'm running 43" lowers eye to eye front and rear so 27" longer then my vertical travel. When I was designing my links and placement I took a tube in CAD and pivoted on the frame side from where i thought it would be at bump to full extension. With my 43" lowers I have 1.75" of rear steer from bump to full extension

Unexciting question among the axle and link action:

How well do those seats fit you? We're similar size and i cant stand my seats but everyone says corbeaus are all stupid wide. Did you compare to other aftermarket brands?

I bet more then that from what I've seen 4 links have more rear steer.

1.75 is awesome. The truck looks badass by the way. Also, I wouldn't think a 4-link would be any different than the 3-link because like you said it all depends on the lower link length. The upper links, I thought, just keep the pinion angle in a good position.

Yeah true but all the double triangulated 4 links i see have more rear steer that i can tell but it could just be the setup..

Well something might be different with the double triangulated 4-link. I've never had any experience with those. I was just talking about a regular triangulated 4-link or parallel 4-link vs. a 3-link.
