I did feel I could have worded my post better. but I'm not trying to connect anything.

All I am saying is this:

if someone spends the time to learn all the aspects of an animal in an area and bags one when they need it then congrats, the said person is a great hunter.

If someone prides them self on how big of something they can get I don't view that as anything astonishing. Anyone can come across a big elk or fish and if you have the meas to bag it if they have the means. In my book that is luck that the person and the animal were in the same place at the same time.
