So for all the guys with 2013 Tacos do you have entune? Do you like it? Hate it? And do you like the jbl stereo?

I have the entune and I like it, the jbl sounds great but I wish the touch screen was a couple inches bigger

Entune™ functions anywhere within the continental United States, but not in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Mexico, or Canada. Vehicles built in the US, but driven into or sold in these regions, do not support Entune™.

I have a '13 and overall I like the Entune system. The only thing that bothers me is the limited support for a lot of Pandora stations and it's not easy to turn up the brightness if you're running headlights during bad weather. When it's bright outside you can barely see the screen with your headlights on. Yes, I know you can drill down through the menus and change it but it's a pain in the butt to do for a temporary situation. Also, for whatever reason I cannot get the data usage warnings to go away when you plug your phone in even though I disabled them within the Entune system.

This is great to know (sarcasm). I'm about to drive my 2012 w/ Entune to Alaska! I don't use the Entune much anyway so whatever but it's stupid. It works using my cellphone's data.....I don't see why it doesn't work anywhere that your phone has a data connection.

BTW, I do love the JBL sound system....except for all the vibrations it causes. Wish they did a better job at the factory of sealing it up.

I'd love to have a touch screen in my 2006, but don't think it would work....??

It's not the best I've ever heard. My 02 Grand Cherokee had better sound overall, just not as deep with the addition of the small sub. It had a factory amp and larger speakers in the door...more speakers too.

I'm OK that I have Entune, but if you don't have it, you're not really missing a whole lot. The NAV is fine, but honestly I use it so rarely it doesn't matter, and the fact that it is clumsy to input an address and your passenger cannot update an address or destination while driving makes it suck. The apps....they suck too. When am I going to buy a movie ticket while driving...or at a stop light...Pandora through the phone is better.

The touch screen, yeah, that's cool, but whoop de doo. I give Entune a C-

The only function I use on a regular basis it bluetooth phone through the truck. You probably don't need Entune for that. In fact, the Entune phone book sucks and the features are so severely limited you might as well use your phone without it.

It's only nice to have because it is the best that is offered for the truck from the factory...and they laugh each time someone checks that box...let's just say I don't plan on paying for any Entune service after mine runs out unless they make some very significant improvements.

The only real part I like about it is the JBL and nav other than that the apps are kinda lame

I love my engine system except every time I use my iPod with the USB port it randomly hesitates or pauses the music for a second happens all the time doesn't matter if you reboot and its not the cable I've switched it out I read another thread on here were users had similar issues Toyota dealer says there is no fix as of yet

I mean, I guess I ripped Entune, rightfully, but I suppose it could be worse.

The upgraded JBL sound is nice, but the "Entune" applications suck and I have trouble syncing with my iPod via USB (freezes) and the fact that it auto plays anytime you hook it up without changing the source. Just because I plug it in doesn't mean I want it to start playing the first "A" song on my list.

Make a playlist in iTunes then you can listen to your favorite songs not starting from the letter a. I do still hate how if its pugged in the radio always chooses the iPod even if I had been listening to xm first
Here is the thread on the iPod cutting in and out
