FYI they might have some trouble getting that much caster, don't be alarmed if you get it back with around 2* of caster.

 

True dat. I think I have around 0. I'm planning on taking my truck to Chet's to see what they can do. I've heard good things.

Unless you have aftermarket UCAs, getting more than 1.5 degrees of caster will be very unlikely.

0 toe and 0 camber are important for good tire wear and will be attainable regardless, assuming your tierod ends and control arm bushings are not worn out and don't have play in them.

Caster is all about drivability, handling not tire wear. Higher caster settings make the steering feel heavy but also a lot more stable, especially at highway speeds. I love the way my truck goes down the highway with 3 degrees of caster.

it would be just as much work swapping all my crap onto a doublecab plus switching out the auto with my manual trans not to mention if i bought a 4x2 double cab and then would have to convert it to 4x4!

 

Converting to 4x4 is the easy way
